Still no name announced, so personalizing this was a bit of a challenge… 
1.5" hickory cubes from Lowe’s, baby-safe acrylic paints, and thick Cherry ply for the sliding nested box.
Dedication is on the inner box bottom below the blocks.
Overall pretty easy, aside from getting clean painted edges on the blocks.
Is that a product or did you get 1.5" square stock and cut them down yourself?
Either way, nice project. 
27 cubes for $12. Would have preferred the 2" cubes, but would have had to do the faces on the CNC. Ran out of time, so GF to the rescue.
