Bark Box: little free library for dogs

Made a free library for dogs.

Made a simple box and then used the GF to engrave the piece of wood with the signage on it.

Super simple. Lots of fun. Neighbors dig it.

If I saw ONLY one neighborhood child just casually walking through my yard with a tennis ball—— I am going to blow a gasket and have a very angry nuclear meltdown.

If this same scenario is replaced with 20 dogs of various sizes and they are trampling through my landscaping —- this would bring a smile to my face. I would also have dog bone cookies available for my new friends.

Your project is an absolutely cute idea!! Thank you for posting it.

Wow. That’s perfect for a dog park right?

Hah! Yea-- I’m happy about all the dogs wandering buy as long as they don’t leave yard bombs.

Yup! I saw a couple of similar sorts of things posted from dog parks, but we don’t have a dog park terribly close to our neighborhood so I figured I’d bring a bit of the park experience home.

Very cute but good luck with the take one leave one concept.

Hah! That’s OK. Turns out you can buy bulk used tennis balls on ebay for $20 / 200 or so…

And sticks are free. Just gotta collect them.

Surprisingly, some dogs seem to want to trade.
