I engraved this onto a bandanna which looks really neat, however it led to a weakening of the fabric which is fragile in the engraved area. Still fun.

Then I moved onto a t-shirt that no-longer fits me, and it is faint, but I still like it.

I need to pick up some of the :glowforge: heat transfer paper, I just wanted to play with zapping some fabric.

Apparently this stuff is really good, I know @shogun has been playing with it lately and saw a pic, it turned out very nicely.

This was my first experiment with deColourant. It’s pretty easy to use and doesn’t seem to damage the fabric at all. The blogpost in the article @evansd2 linked to has the settings.

Thank you @evansd2 and @shogun I just ordered a container of it.
In the past I played with screenprinting and was contemplating if there was a way to make the screens with the laser, but this looks like a sustainable process :slight_smile:

Wow that looks cool. I wonder what they are using on the screens as a coating. It looks like a metal screen from the video. This might be fun to do with the :glowforge:

Yes, it’s a steel mesh screen with some ablative coating.
