I haven’t found the brand of cyannoacrylate glue I use (again, the hobby
town variety) to discolor or cloud the joints. I have used it to glue
models to my acrylic bases, and on the dice I made, and the handcuffs. The
key is to use “uncure debinder” on a small piece of gauze or some other
material that doesn’t produce lint. This way you can get glue on your
joints and wipe off the excess and “finish” your joints. Ymmv, whatever
works, I think.
