Eh… Possibly. I still think stitching would be best.

@marmak3261 did say that this was a wrap for the handle, so I imagine that if it fit tightly to the handle, there should be some significant back pressure holding these tabs in place. If it were also glued, I could see this as as a VERY tight hold. I just wouldn’t know if it is equal to, less than, or better than stitching.

As the wife and I are HUGE fans of the ‘Horrible Histories’ show i should probably make one of these swords for her!

(and if you have not seen ‘Horrible Histories’ then you really MUST take the time… Seasons 1-5 are masterpieces)
