Growing up we’d stick two peeps facing each other on a plate and stick a toothpick out the front. We’d then nuke them and watch as they grew and grew. Eventually the toothpicks would start reaching the other peep. And then at some point, one of them (or both) would start to deflate and the “other one” wins. We’d then eat both peeps and start again. Peep jousting!
I’m sure it looked kinda strange for a bunch of kids gathered around a microwave and cheering on one or the other peep.
Who knew the food could be so entertaining? And cleaning up the carnage could be so tasty?
