They made the a bit too short which made it scrape on the aluminum plate when you open and close the lid, the new ribbons are a 1/2" longer on the part going to the PCB for some slack.

On a pro you remove the tiny hex screws from the bottom and shimmy the board and cable out. It is actually pretty easy

I requested it directly from glowforge. I believe it was around $35 but this was years ago, and I think they’d sent me a used one.
