Blank Pencils

Anyone know a spot to find blank pencils with no stamping on them already? I’m striking out and my google skills are not working.

I’ve ordered from Amazon. Did a search for “pencil bulk”

I am planning on doing some engraving on pencils, but I haven’t bought any yet. I came across these. They are a bit expensive at $30 shipped for 144, but they have no paint on them and are unfinished cedar. They are also hex shape (rather than round).

Those are the ones I use. I prefer the flat hex to a round pencil barrel.

I ordered the Amazon ones as well. For anyone else looking at those, just be aware that there is an “Amazon Basics” logo on them.

Now for a maybe-impossible challenge – anyone ever found unbranded/blank colored pencils?

Here’s the first of many results from my highly specialized internet-content review software* for “unbranded colored pencil”

Sorry – I should have been way more specific. I’m looking more for artist quality pencils and not in bulk. Sometimes the photos are kind of misleading. I just want to make a couple of sets for friends and family. I guess they wouldn’t even really have to be entirely unbranded – just not already have color names.

I mean, I completely understand why nice quality pencils are really well branded. It makes sense. That’s why it’s maybe-impossible

Ok, yeah… high-quality, unbranded, small quantity may be tough.
These ones from Brandless ironically just have the Brandless brand mark…

doubt these are actually prismacolors, but they might work:

I guess you could also just get some crayolas, whittle off the marking, and engrave something new there…
or ask for coloring page/pencils at every restaurant you visit for a while, could probably end up with a nice collection!

Uh, holy crap. I literally never thought about just sanding off the finish. Or I could just paint the ends and engrave that, right?

You’re a genius.

woohoo, I did helping!

Or, you easily could make the “Brandless” pencils a little bit shorter with a saw—or maybe even a laser cuther?! :sunglasses:

Never thought about colored art pencils. I think the idea of a personalized set is interesting. I did find these: (sorry for the long address, but it does work and is safe)

I took a set of 24 Crayola colored pencils and personalized them for my grandson. He loved them and so did his art teacher now I’m currently 20 more sets the rest of the class…

I buy most of mine at Dollar Tree…12 for a $1. They have bright solid colors in neon that laser really nicely and they have cute seasonal designs too. (Sometimes the designs are too busy, but the polka dot ones turn out nice according to my nieces.)
