Breaking the rules... (which are made to be broken)

Now that I behaved for a week or so, its time to go full on geek with my GF.

I am trying to produce ‘colors’ on my GF, and looking for different methods, etc
to achieve the ‘look’ I want, my first experiment was using the (really expensive) metal marking spray on some acrylic They sell this Stuff!
I knew it would not ‘bond’ properly, but I wanted to see what it looked like.
THIS is my first test ‘print’

i used my fingernail to remove the excess paint / weeding, then will give it a coat of clearcoat

My IDEA is to get C M Y K colors and ‘silk screen’ each color on using the laser for each layer.
its a bold / time intensive idea… BUT IT FEELS LIKE IT WILL BE FUN!!!

So this CMYK idea has been explored a bit, and it’s not trivial. Check out some of @shogun’s and @aanden’s painted projects.

Some people have used Mylar to make silkscreens, which can produce full color images.

There has also been some work done using dithered patterns of side lit acrylic layered with RGB Channels to produce full color side-lit images.

I’m curious as to what you come up with. I figure there are other possibilities here.

This is intriguing. I can’t wait to see what you can do with this.
