I have a refurbished GF that no longer works. The front handle of the lid separated and the two black cables disconnected which meant the lid closed sensor was disconnected. I glued up the lid and replace both black cables but cannot get it to work. I am done trying diy repairs, so now what? I don’t even know if it is allowed in the landfill (any hazardous materials in it)?

There are people that buy non working machines. You also might be successful selling some of the parts like the carriage plate, printhead, honeycomb tray, daughter board and power supply.

Wiregrass Technology is located in Alabama and has the resources to repair Glowforges. Their prices are reasonable and they do good work. I highly recommend them. It might be worth a call. They fixed mine.
