Bubble in Coolant - Safe to power up?

Inspecting my Glowforge Pro I found a bubble in the coolant. Other have described a bunch of small bubbles, mine however is large. Don’t want to give my GF a DVT. So is it safe to power up?

I assume you just received it? Yes, it has a purge built in and that will be the first thing it does when it powers up.

It should clear out when you turn it on, but if it doesn’t, you can always choose to wait to fire the laser until you hear from support

Yes.

I had the exact same thing on Friday. I waited a few hours to grab dinner first, but had no trouble upon startup.

When you first power it on the air will clear, as jb said it’s self purging. It doesn’t take long, and by the time you get it connected to your WiFi it will be cleared.

This is a helpful video to clarify the setup routine.
