I love his channel…
That’s a cool video. I love using cardboard in projects, and I can’t wait to try some of his recipes.
Thanks for sharing, @timjedwards!
I have an excessive amount of cardboard, but every time i think to make something out of it, i decide not to bother and tie it up for recycling.
I already follow that channel, but I hadn’t seen this video - how excellent!
I want to make a bench to put near the sidewalk in my front yard. How fun to make it out of cardboard!
Took me all day to get where I could watch this and now I feel as though a gauntlet has been thrown down. I mean much cheaper than any plywood and maybe strong enough for some interesting applications?
When I saw the video capture I thought he was using it a a core for fiberglass but no, it’s just pasteboard and wheat glue!
and shellac and beesewax
Now I’m curious about my original assumption!? Foam is the traditional core for laying up fiberglass for aircraft homebuilders and makers but maybe pasteboard would work well for some use cases?
I am considerably more rotund than the fellow in the video. I would never trust that tiny stool under my not so tiny rump.
Would you trust it if it were made of wood?
His fabric waterproofing video is also excellent (as are many of his videos).
