Burlap settings

I had a couple ask what settings I used to make my “Burlap Bugs” pictured here:

The settings that worked for me are as follows:

1000 speed, 70 power, 225 lpi and just did set focus.

Had to remove the tray and didn’t want to do maths, and it wasn’t exactly the same thickness over the entire piece. These were actually pre-made. Found them at my local arts and crafts store that was going out of business, but I’ve seen them at Hobby Lobby, Michaels, ect.

Thanks for the settings! I’ve been using stamps that I glowforged to brand my burlap bags but this looks so much cleaner. :+1:

Awesome, glad I could help. Do you have any pictures of the bags you’ve engraved?

Here’s one. I had to lower the power a bit from your settings. The bags have a slight sheen to them which doesn’t work too well with details. Work in progress

I use them for these mirrors I glowforged.

Thanks again for your help!

Looks awesome, whats the saying mean on the skull?

Thanks! You mean the one that says Cha’a Yi? It’s a Maya term for death. It basically means “To Extinguish Oneself.”
