Those are nice! My mother had a bunch of old hair combs, and I gave them away after she died, to friends with long hair…with no haircuts in my near future, I’ve been wishing I hadn’t, as my hair is getting unruly! You may have inspired me to try making some wood ones!

They are very beautiful. However you might want to rotate them 90 degrees to line up with the grain better.the extra wood up high should keep from splitting but the blades being thin should make them more fragile with sideways grain,
