I want to use 5"x 10’ samples of products that I use as samples. When setting up the laser I oftentimes have to play with settings wasting materials. Does anyone have or would be willing to make a file that would show various settings directly on a sample. I would like it to show me a wide combination of settings with power and speed. With each labeled.
Can anyone help?

sounds like you want a material test template…
I took a pass at updating the Laser Cutting Materiale Template (from Noloxs on Thingiverse) to make it more Glowforge-friendly:
Changed the engrave test shades to rasters
Combined the paths on the same test (so holes aren’t punched through the material at each intersection of the outlines
Added a (limited) vector engrave test tile, using the colors provided in @chris1 ’s Illustrator Workspace Setup for Glowforge Laser Cutter tutorial.
Full disclosure, I haven’t tried out the vectors yet becaus…

You can make up these that tries out an array of settings with a minimal use of materials, and can easily be stored for future reference.

Yes. It would take some of the guesswork out of settings for sure. Can you lend a link so I can see the file?
