Camp Randall Stadium Sign - Multi-maker machine project

This project uses multiple materials using 4 different machines to make. I really like the laser cut stadium maps that I’ve seen online, but thought I could make mine different by using a combination of 3D printed parts, with laser cut embellishments. Then add the ability to print color with the eufyMake E1 makes this a one of a kind piece.

I am a huge fan of the Wisconsin Badgers, and was in the marching band in the early 90’s. I wanted to pay homage to the band as well as the Wisconsin Badger football team as sort of a joke that people came to watch the band more than they came to watch football. On the field, I duplicated the final formation the band does each year spelling “On Wis”. This will hang proudly on my wall.

The stadium was 3D printed on a Bambu H2S. The field was UV printed on the eufyMake E1 on 1/16" MDF and the laser cut to size on the Glowforge using Snapmarks.

The plaques on the bottom, as well as the Bucky Badger were UV printed on acrylic, then laser cut to size on the Glowforge using Snapmarks. All of the letters were laser cut using acrylic on the Glowforge. The back is proofgrade cherry, and the stencil jig was 1/16th" MDF cut on my Mira 9.

Go Badgers!

Oh wow! There’s so much going on, I love it!

The badge looks metallic, was that metallic acrylic or is that the ink?

Proofgrade Red acrylic and the ink makes it look that way. Raised ink about 1mm.

That is amazing. I really like the way you got the best out of all your machines into a single project.

Wow! You need to send a picture of that to the University, and especially the band department! You did an amazing job on that! Thanks for the details and video!
