If I start a print can I close that file on the UI while it’s printing and open a new file to start working on while the other is still printing? I could have just tried it but figured I would ask in here first. Thanks.

Yup.
Once the job is processed and you hit the start button there’s no more communication between the Glowforge and the web.
If you want to keep it open for the timer/etc you can open a new UI window and work in there, too.

Also, if you open a new print job, you will be able to continue to see the timer in the upper right!
