Can u engrave multiple items at once

I have a bunch of the same items and I was wondering if I can put a bunch in my machine at once and engrave them all?

Yes but trickier than doing one and ruining one is cheaper than ruining a dozen.

No there is no problem with making mutable of the same item. You will just need to copy and paste them either in your design or in the glowforge ctrl + c then ctrl + v as many time as you want.

If you want to reduce print time, you need to combine your graphic outside of the UI, not copy and paste inside it. Otherwise, it will only print individual copies, not one large set together.

I do 1-1/2" tokens engraved both sides, and all I can get in at one time is 77.
I find it much easier to prepare the file in Inkscape as efly said.

Which is the STUPIDEST thing ever. $6k and that can’t just be a basic feature of the UI WHY??? I have multiple individual coasters, nothing to line them up perfectly with, so how am I supposed to get my design on all of them QUICKLY? I am working off a tablet. Why can’t I just arrange everything where it needs to be, hit “Group” and have it treat that all as ONE design?

It’s fine if you’re just venting, but this post is over 2 years old, and it’s unlikely that the OP will respond.

I’m not sure whether you’re saying you are incapable of putting things in a line, or you don’t know how to use the line-up tool. Either way, feel free to create post to ask and one of us would be happy to walk you through how to do either.

This works this way with vector designs.
