Carved stella octangula for paper and acrylic

Hi, this is a very cute geometry puzzle and sculpture you can make with your kids together. I don’t have a picture of the acrylic version now, but it is basically the same shape as the paper version. Depending on your paper thickness, you might want to adjust the slit width. I have included two thicknesses. The acrylic version is drawn for 3mm. You need 8 pieces to make one. For the paper version, I was too lazy to draw 4 or 8 on 12" by 12", and did 6 instead. It was actually drawn for Cricut Design Space, which is very hard to use. That’s why everything is in one path. The acrylic version doesn’t need glue.

Thank you @shiying for your generous share. It looks complicated.

It’s my pleasure. The lines might look complicated, but assembling the puzzle is quite fun. You can start with the paper version; it’s a lot easier since you can bend the paper.
