Charcuterie Board Engraving

Figured that folks could use a quick design for engraving a cutting board. Uploading the file with removed double pastrami (for those who noticed).

Long term project is to make a dry curing cabinet for making all these wonderful goods.

Thanks! But would I have to acquire all those varieties if I used it?

Wow, looking at all the different kinds … I’m kind of thinking it’s a good thing we never entertain. Love the look though!!

I actually have a wine fridge that I use to hang and age my own cured meat so this board is right up my alley!

My early years looked like this except I made my own. Burgers Smokehouse is the big cured meat company in mid-Missouri. I went to a boarding school for high school and I would bring snacks for break from home rather than spending money on candy and soda from the school store. My favorite was the winter snack of Burgers summer sausage, Ritz crackers, and spreadable cheese. I’d keep it in a window sill for refridge. This was pre-luncheables so I made my own. I’ve graduated to better cheeses and meats, but it’s really the same!

Edit: fixed spelling of capocollo. Missed the double “l”. This particular cut comes from the neck muscle, hence the “top of the neck” translation.

Here is a great video of the process in Italy and why it is a special product.
