I’ve been working on this for a few weeks off and on and finally “finished” it yesterday. I put that in quotes because there are many details I want to follow up on, so I know I’m going to start on a new version very soon.

It’s a wonderful set, and that custom-fitted box is genius! I also like the raised edges to each square—keeps the pieces from wandering.

Nice step up by including the box. I always end up putting felt (I cheat & use the self-adhesive kind) in the compartments to cushion the contents when I build a box like that but I really like how the grain shows and the contrast. It’s really classy looking.

Great idea and totally agree on the felt! To be honest, I was loving this project, but really wanting to be done at the same time
