I loved that ornament so much I wanted to continue the theme. So designed one for the shepherds receiving the news from the angle.

My plan will be to do the wisemen next year.
And here is the conclusion to the trilogy planned last year, the Wise Men.
This has been such a fun set of ornaments to make. I will really have my work cut out for me next year to come up with another idea.
EDIT:
This design was accepted in the Glowforge Catalog. It can be found here:

This is really lovely, Bill. The three wise men have been underappreciated and in the background more often than not.

I just think back to every nativity scene I have seen; Shepherds on the left, the manger in the middle, and the wise men on the right (because they came from the east).

I recall something about folk hanging out with their sheep in midwinter.

Beautiful! And why haven’t you submitted all of these to the catalog, hmm???

The first one is a variation of @geek2nurse 's original ornament.
The second one is based on artwork I didn’t draw.
But this one I will submit.

Lovely ornament! I like that little curved platform that they stand on. And the layering.
