I thought these would make nice christmas presents. 3mm MDF. Friction fit.
It’s 24" long with a 22" wingspan.
https://3axis.co/ Found it here. But they need a bit of work to be glowforge-ready.

Neat!
The dragonfly looks great! Very cool of you to share the design.
Wow … that’s huge!
Thanks! That’s really big…
Nice!
Where did you get the MDF if I may ask?
Now all you need is to incorporate a small drone into the body somehow… (if out of cardboard maybe could lift it…)
Thank you for sharing! I love dragonflies!!
Thanks for sharing this nice build

My work gets it from a local wood supplier ( PJ White Hardwoods) in 4’x8’ sheets

It was way too big. I’ve scaled it down to a single sheet for easier cutting!
Oh, thank you!
I don’t know anything about dragonflies but are the wings backwards? Looks great to me either way though.
It certainly looks like they could be.
I made some of the reindeer and had the antlers backwards, so I have been there too.
hehe… I thought that when assembling, but I was just following the OPs pic… turns out they were. As the parts just slot together, no dragonfly wings were harmed in the correction of this error…
