Cleaning Acrylic

I saw a thread about cleaning acrylic but for the life of me I could not decide just what was working and what was not?

Also, is there a certain grade of sandpaper to use to smooth out the edges? What do you use?

I use those Zeiss Lens Cleaners - works for me so far…

The main takeaway I got was DON’T use alcohol because it causes cracking.

Aaaand zeiss lens cleaners are all alcoholed up. Crazing is a bad thing.

Novus #1 is an excellent plastic cleaner.

With caution, a butane torch will polish the edge, although a laser cut does the same.
