Those look really nice! Are those horseshoes 3D printed or are they real horseshoes? If they are real, they must be really heavy.
Real horseshoes
Wow! Those are beautiful!
Very impressive work! As always.
Those are beautiful! Great idea.
Those are too nice to actually use.
Gorgeous!
Your design looks awesome with the horseshoes! Your work is exceptional!
Omg these are great
Fantastic!
What a unique coaster design! Love it.
How creative! I’m sorry for the dumb question here, so please bear with me. I’ve had my Glowforge for several years now and used it for many things, but I’ve never done leather work. I’m assuming the laser is providing the deep black outlines of the flowers and petals. What settings do you use for the leather? What are you using to paint the flowers and leaves? Do you plan to use these and are you worried if water off the glasses will ruin the paint or are they mainly a show piece? Sorry for all the questions, but I am just enthralled with your work. Well done!
They use the Glowforge to build stamps out of Delrin which they then press into the leather (with a mechanical press, not just pushing).
If you click on their profile image you can go to a page that shows all their most popular posts, it’s totally worth looking around!
Leather is great for engraving into with the Glowforge but you don’t get the smooth raised edges like you do with stamping.
Those are absolutely gorgeous! Love the contrast of the daintiness of the flowers with the hard metal of the horseshoes. You should sell those at western supply stores!
Amazing work!
Very nice indeed! I would really be interested to hear about your technique/process for painting.
Terrific work as usual!
