Configurable Snowflake Ornaments

I’ve been doing the #Glowvember challenge Here. I’m using Cuttle to make all of the designs to force myself to get better with it. I’m also trying to make them as configurable as possible and they will all be publicly accessible.

I wanted to draw particular attention to the challenge for Nov 11, Christmas Ornament.

You can customize your own snowflakes by going to the project above and following these instructions.

Here are a few samples I created.

Cut files for the above snowflakes:

11. Christmas Ornament - Snowflake(2)
11. Christmas Ornament - Snowflake(1)

This is cool, I like that it has a hole for hanging the snowflakes.

For anyone who’d like something like this but aren’t using cuttle, this is similar:

I made this one - it’s funny as you slide the controls back and forth you’ll see a bunch that are nice and, at least in my case, you’ll suddenly see one that makes you happy - and that’s when you stop and print!

That’s a cool generator too. I’ll be adding to mine over time. This was a one-day build, but I want more options, like variable thickness and secondary branching.

I already made the hole for hanging the snowflake optional. There’s a checkbox now for indicating if you want the hole or not.
