Can anyone think of a Font that connects like this at the bottom? My customer is looking for something in the Century Gothic family and suggested Central/Century Gothic but I don’t see anything like that connects the letters like this.
Any suggestions are appreciated:
https://www.whatfontis.com/ had no luck identifying it - but it would be a pretty easy thing to node-edit as long as you weren’t doing huge blocks of text…
@deirdrebeth! Never seen whatfontisthis.com before, that’s really cool!
Someone on here posted about it - it really rocks!
Fontbase (installed locally) is also really useful if you have WAY too many fonts!
Whatthefont is good too.
Also, that is pretty trivial to do with basic vector editing skills, there have been lots of tutorials that cover how. Someone, maybe jules? did a cake topper tutorial that covered it.

These connected fonts are super easy.
Type out the name, in caps, and change it from a font to paths (AI: Create Outlines, Inkscape: Object To Path).
Make a rectangle the approx thickness of the letter strokes.
Align the rectangle to the bottom of the letters.
Weld it all together (AI:Pathfinder> Unite, Inkscape:Path> Union)
Throw it at the Glowforge.

Also, the font is Century Gothic Bold.
