I often use Export to PNG and then reimport because that gives me the control I want over resolution.
One of the annoying things about the export to PNG panel is that I think I’ve completed the action when all I’ve done is pick an output filename. It takes one more click to actually do the thing. (Button on the lower right of the panel.)
