CorelDraw Tutorial for Creating an Offset Path

Great job, @Jules! I’m still trying to get caught up on forum posts after a vacation so I’m just getting to this.

I need to generate cut lines in CorelDraw for my vinyl printer/cutter daily. This is close to the process I use.

Right after this step…

…I do things a little different. As soon as I Ungroup and while all the individual components are still selected, I choose the Create Boundary feature. This automatically creates a new vector on the outside edge of all the selected objects.

In the case of this specific graphic, there are a couple more steps to put a cut line inside the legs. I would use the Smart Fill Tool and click in the white space between the legs. That creates a new object with a default fill and outline. I set the fill to empty and the outline to the cut line color my printer/cutter uses.

If I started with a scan or bitmap image and don’t need the vector version anymore, I delete the vectorized version at this time.
