Just bought a Glow Forge this past month, but have had a wood shop with quality tools for many years. Your work represents the merging of quality work with traditional wood craft, and the use of the laser. I have several hundred board feet of hard woods. I will have to plane some down to 1/4" and try to replicate some of your quality. Outstanding work and photos.

1/8" clear acrylic over the engravings so he will use it?

Coming up on three years since I gave them to him, they’ve still never been used. They’re on permanent display in his kitchen. 
Hall of Fame? Seriously great job. You could tell him you will make him a “useable set” and he can keep those for looks.
