Countersink holes in acrylic?

Has anyone with a :glowforge: or prior experience tried engraving countersink holes in acrylic? Would the engrave time alone be counterproductive if you own a drill/press? Just laser some holes and countersink after? Thoughts?

Yes. Not on a GF though. Just did that for acrylic plates used to cover the RFID antenna for an electronic door lock install at my MakerSpace. Could it have been faster with a drill press? Probably a bit. But a laser :grinning:

One good thing with the laser is that it’s dead spot on where you want it. And you won’t crack a corner because you placed it too close to the corner as you might with a drill (DAMHIK).
