Create 3D models with stacked plates

Hi guys,

I am thinking about creating software that lets you create 3D models with stacked plates easier

  • simple web-app

  • numbered plates so it’s easier to find the next plate

  • engravings that help with aligning the plates correctly

  • direct import from Thingiverse etc

Do you think that’s interesting?

Options are:

  1. I don’t care about 3D models with stacked plates
  2. I care about 3D models with stacked plates, but I don’t like your idea
  3. I care about 3D models with stacked plates, and I would like to get access to your software

You might like to check out LuBan, which includes pretty much the same functionality (they call it “Stack”) among other useful functions, except it requires an app download. A web based app would be a nice alternative.

Stacked is OK. Cool even . But if you could do something with half laps, then you’d be a hero.
For the life of me, I do not understand why Autodesk didn’t appreciate the power of. Slicer for fusion 360.
