Custom Car Club Trophy

This 2 sided Car Club Trophy was created to be handed out to a yearly winner.

The pretzel shape base is made from stacked walnut. The acrylic was etched in reverse and painted second surface. A custom base was fabricated and fitted with a timing gear. I engraved the base even though it would mostly be hidden. Finally, everything was blind fastened for a super clean end result.

Thank you! The GM timing gear came from a local auto parts dealer.

I like it. What parts did you do? Just the bottom of the base?

I created everything but the timing gear. The base was the only part not cut on the Glowforge due to its thickness.
