Cuttle makes Score instead of Engrave pretty fast to setup

I don’t mean to seem dismissive, but I don’t seek inspiration from my tools. I look to find the tools that fulfil my inspiration.

Imagine you have a pile of screws and a hammer.

You’d think “these nails suck”.

Someone hands you a screw driver and now a whole new range of possibilities open up to you.

Interpolate is a screwdriver. Who knows that you might be able to do now that you know about it? Maybe not something today, but down the line – it’s always good to know the full capability of your tools.

Very nicely put. My imagination might be limited by the tools I have available.

when i do training at work for our indesign templates (which have a ton of depth and automation in them), i always tell the people i’m training that i don’t expect them to remember how to do all the things i’m teaching them. it’s unlikely anyone would. but what i want them to remember is that they CAN do those things so when the opportunity arises, they know it can be done and they can check the user guide or ask one of the more experienced users how to do those things.

Yeah, I have that approach as well - let them know it’s there if they might need it.

As I’ve only learned design skills by myself, I’ve never had that kind of guidance.

Awesome idea, and the scored ones look cleaner as well.
