Wow, that took me just a second to digest and convert to fingernail brush. I had a millisecond of OMG that seems harsh

Sorry - I’m British - always been called a nail brush to me - I would hate to imagine a ‘nail’ brush like a bed of nails doing a very good job at all!!!

They’re called the same here in the US.

It just made me smile and reply to the post. I enjoyed the micro-thought

You make a nice engraved Acrylic Art - and then scratch it to hell with a load of nails - that is a new form of art!

Yep, exactly why it made me smile. my second thought was something less aggressive like a wire brush. I mean steel wire too, not that wimpy brass wire brush :joy:

Old toothbrush for acrylic or wood.
Add a squirt of Fast Orange if it is a residue or gooey seeming like on heavy wood engraves.
Currently have 3 old toothbrushes on the bench, in various shades of nasty.

Ahh, Agent Orange. Machine Shop lingo, we had slang names for everything.

As others have said, I use a brush. Specifically, a stiff toothbrush. Sometimes I also use a piece of old jeans material; that works well too.
