It has been a very busy 2 years so I have not been making as much stuff as I used to but I did my first western fashion show and thought y’all might enjoy it. Everything except for the first outfit (which I made as “Breakfast at Tiffanys” theme) was engraved with my Glowforge. I ended up winning peoples choice as designer of the night and was offered a spot in Aspen Fashion Week, so I guess that will be my next show
I know I have been MIA, so here is a general life update; I had my second baby in August, his name is Levi and is happy and healthy but it was a more eventful pregnancy… I accidently fell in May and cracked my skull and had a slight brain bleed (all because I hit my funny bone), then my baby’s heart started acting up around June (turned out he had managed to make a knot in his umbilical cord), and then my dog Thorin sadly passed away the night before I was induced (his stomach had flipped and his heart gave out in the surgery to fix it). So I was certainly over being pregnant and am not wanting to do that again. We are all good now and things have been finally calming down.
Anyways, here is my recent show with almost all my Glowforge projects! I am actually working on 2 more designing over Christmas and so there will be more to come by the time of Aspen.
Pretty chaotic year, but welcome back. Congrats on the baby, sorry about your dog, and glad you made it through your fall adventure. Thorin is a great name for a dog.
It’s amazing to see how much your sewing skills have developed over the years. That’s a lot of outfits to make in your own for a show! I loved the dresses. The styles were gorgeous.

I’m sorry for your loss. Thorin was a big presence in your past posts, so he will be missed here too.
It’s great to see you back on the forum-we have missed your expertise!! You’ve had a lot going on in the past 2 years-glad things have leveled out and everyone is healthy. I believe around the last time of your posts you were about to have your ‘first’ baby. The outfits are spectacular. Such creativity. Congrats and good luck in the next one!!

So good to see you back! Very happy about the addition of Levi to your family, and very sorry about Thorin’s loss. We always loved seeing him photobomb your photos. He will be missed. What a busy, busy time you’ve had. And your fall sounds really scary. Glad you’re doing okay.
Very impressive fashion show! I still remember well your Star Wars cape. You never did get that one back after NYFW did you? Will be looking forward to see your new designs for the Aspen show.
First, thank you for sharing - but oh my gosh, that is SO much to deal with in such a short amount of time. cracking your skull and having a brain bleed, having your baby get a knot in the umbilical cord and losing Thorin, all in less than half of a year?!?! Did your delivery go well? I’m so glad Levi is fine.
