Yeah, when I was first looking at font creation programs I saw that, but I was never able to get it to run on my computer. You have to get it to run through another program and it bested me :slight_smile:

But I do like the ‘forge’ parallel!

It uses the same XQuartz framework as Inkscape. I took a look at the documentation on his site and he doesn’t have the most recent version of XQuartz linked. If you are running El Capitan or Sierra, you need the latest version (2.7.11). Any other version is probably not going to work at all. There are also a couple of config settings in Quartz that are important. PM me if you’d like some help with this.

Never thought to make the connection and use the character/icon glyphs for vector images. I have a couple goods sets of food dingbats that I used as the end marker to a recipe section for my cookbook. Thanks for the tip.
