This is a desk lamp I made a year or so ago. The design is largely inspired by a lamp that I saw in a shop once, I can no longer remember the name though.
It’s made out of 4mm birch plywood. The base has rooms inside of it that I filled with sand before glueing the layers together. This give it a bit of extra weight so that it doesn’t fall over. Some metals scraps would properly be better though. Holes for the cable was drilled manually. It does not include an on/off switch at this point
