Just Find a Video and download it. Surely got to be some out there free.

Needed a banana for scale in the first video, but the photo of what’s behind really put it into perspective. It’s been getting cold (for here) and I had that same fireplace video on on the tv the other day, definitely gotta make one of these. This also makes me think that, like @geek2nurse, you can make a plethora of scenes, an enterprising maker could probably make some really interesting D&D place settings among other settings.

I wondered about this, too. Also, even if you left your phone plugged in, seems like it might get a bit warm with a video running for so long. But then, I’ve never tried it.

I went to Youtube and there are many out there with times up to ten hours, You can buy small video screens very cheap that will play a 1 TB micro video card. So you could have one be stand alone.

Try This Link. it has a fireplace loop - free download, not sure if all are free but some are.

This one is about 6M . it also comes in lower resolutions if you prefer.

I once made my own entirely in CG

The fire is 16 repeating images I am still selling them.

I bought the file for this fireplace and it is so fantastic and cool looking! Ive alternated the cut out front face pieces and allowed the alternating look of the scorch from the laser to contrast with the clean look of its neighboring pieces. Now, my idea tree for items to “hang” or “place on the mantle” according to seasons etc, is getting long. Thanks you for sharing your design!
