Do Your Part Chore Chart

We are a family of 3 who recently became 4 thanks to my son’s friend coming to stay with us long term. My son is a Junior and the +1 just graduated high school this week. Looks like we’ll be a foursome for a while longer, but I’ve found myself doing an awful lot of the housework with the teens always finding time to disappear right as the chores start flying.

Talked with a friend of mine who recommended making a chore chart. Being the new Glowforge junkie that I am… decided to make it with some GF flair.

Now all that’s left is to actually get them to do it.
I used Medium Maple Hardwood, adhesive magnets, and a magnetic chore chart I picked up on the Amazon.com.

I think it’s an awesome idea and project!

(This from the person who made a cleaning chart as a kid. My Mom thought it was a great idea, and for awhile enforced it. My siblings didn’t think it was so great). :::sigh:::

In fairness, my older sisters had a way of disappearing when there was something to be done.
