Small project tonight to make a birthday present for a dog lover in my family: a paper luminary with dogs on the outside. The rings are proofgrade cherry, and the sides are high-quality drawing paper. I left a small cutout inset to center the tea-light candle (but I’m going to deliver it to her with an LED tea-light for safety.)
Great idea. Very easy to update the paper year after year.
Very nice design!
Looks fantastic!
Very nice! Really like incorporating the cutouts to support the upper and lower rings in the paper.
Very cool! Does it project enormous dogs on the wall in a darkened room?
A design that is easily changed to suit the various recipients! Nice work!
There are a variety of reasons why someone may not want to share design files, and it can be uncomfortable for some to have to say no publicly. So, our community standards (and forum rules) are to not ask for files, but leave it up to the designer to offer.
If you’re looking for a huge selection of freely shared files, check out the Free Laser Designs section in the forum. Hundreds of great files in there for personal use.
Ah, ok, thanks!!
Super cool! Circle math is hard. My brain itchez. Definitely one I want to figure out though.
