If someone wishes to share their design, they usually post it in the free laser designs section (for personal use only) or, if they have an online presence, they will post the link to their shop in their profile. Even though you didn’t ask them for the design directly, just a gentle reminder that it’s against forum rules to do so.

Correct, CD´s and DVD´s are almost pure Polycarbonate, which has a very low melting point (as anyone who left a CD in their car under the sun knows) and are a mess to cut.
I once knew someone who would dip them in scalding water and make undulating flower patterns as part of her handcrafting.
