Dual Morph 27.2 Pentagonal Antiprism

It’s been a while since I created a truly unique polyhedral, so I thought I’d share my latest along with some vids of my design and print process.

Faces - 162
Vertices - 160
Radius - 7.614"
Circumference - 47.84"
Surface Area - 645.15
Volume - 1499.02
Screws - 300
Materials: Proofgrade Maple, Proofgrade Walnut, Padouk

Design shape in Stella4D. This is a Morph dual 27.2% in between a Pentagonal Antiprism and a Pentagonal Deltohedron. Then as that new shape as the new base, I morph 27.2% between this new polyhedron and its dual to get my final shape.

Beautiful wood work on it too!

I feel like the fact that the hidden connectors are hearts could mean something - like if you made it openable so they could be seen…or something - but I think it’s neat that the hidden connectors are heart shaped
