A reflection of your loss I presume. Very Nice!
Your life experience was enriched because of your companion. What if he’d never come at all? Your pet’s gift to you, for giving him a friend he could count on. I don’t know that there has ever been a more rewarding symbiotic relationship than that between a human and a dog.
