Beautiful! I am from a Slavic background (1/4 Polish and more) and these are so pretty. The stands look like the wooden ones you used to get with the Japanese decorated eggs in the 80’s, I think they’re perfect.

For those saying to automate the process, I think part of making the eggs is that they are done by hand, it’s in the name. You can get a heated kistka to make it go faster though.

It’s two different things. I was not in any way demeaning doing it by hand.

No worries! I was just saying that part of the beauty of it is being done by hand. Otherwise it’s just a decorated egg (which isn’t a bad thing, just falls into a different category, as you said :slightly_smiling_face:
