you don’t mask on the leatherette. Just use rubbing alcohol and it will remove the “sut”.

What are your cut settings? Im dialing in on my engrave and I feel like when cutting im getting dust blow back into the design. Engraving currently 500/12/x1, 225 LPI, and 0.07in material. Id appreciate any help you can offer!!

Welcome to the forum.
This is a really old discussion thread, so you might not hear from some of the folks that posted. I have cut leatherette from a few different vendors. The material is variable, so you may have to refine your settings after testing. I cut with 245/50 and engrave most colors at 450/10/195.

According to my notes, I cut with 245/48 (almost the same as @dklgood), and engrave with 1000/45/225.
