Has anyone had any success engraving on stainless steel money clips? I cant find any threads that mention this

Well you can’t engrave metal but you can mark on it by using various products from Cermark to Moly Dry Lube to mustard etc. Try the search function, there have been many posts on the subject.

Plus Johnson Plastics is my go to answer for acrylics, but they also have a multitude of other products that are laser ready.
I have seen these clips, but always wondered about how well they would hold up scratch wise (since my really old money clip has the chrome worn off).

I know you said etc there but I was fascinated with the wet paper towel one that worked so much better than one would have thought.
