Engraving Chipboard

Formally engraved a chipboard product! Didn’t think it would turn out well but it looks so professional. I admit I forgot to offset the small graphics and letters by the laser kerf so they pop out more but extememly pleased

What type of board, specifically?

Not sure. This is discarded chipboard from my work. It feels looks similar to a cereal box but thicker.

I love the stuff. I would love to see a Proofgrade offering of it lol. It’s one of the most consistent materials that I’ve used. Every sheet calipers the same. Every sheet cuts the same.

What do you use it for? Packaging, or?

I work in a electronics manufacturing firm. These were used between layers of parts to protect them from the supplier to my firm. I started to collect these out of recycling when I purchased the original crowd funding in 2015. These are 12 x 12 inches. I stopped when I got to 5 foot high stack after 2 months and that was after I gave away at least 2 or 3 foot stacks :flushed:
