I’m New to Glowforge Aura I was wanting to know if anyone has engraved on a wallet I bought some wallets from Amazon that stated the material was laser friendly but I’m new and dont know the settings I should use. If anyone could help I would appreciate it,

I don’t have the Aura, but is there a medium Proofgrade leather setting as there is for the performance printers?

There is a setting for med. proofgrade leather for Aura in the drop down menu. Just make sure the wallets are real leather…preferably veg. tanned…but, for sure not ‘faux’ leather. Even though they say laser friendly, it’s a good idea to make sure.

FWIW I find that the PG medium leather engrave setting on Aura is a bit too aggressive.
With use/movement many engraved areas turn into holes. I’d reduce the power a couple points.
