Hi. I’m trying to engrave some words on thick dark blue acrylic (proof grade). I used SD setting. It’s barely readable from the engraved side and not at all from the other. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
The PG dark blue is opaque, so it’s not ever going to show on the other side.

Acrylic doesn’t show any char, it just melts. So you’re probably going to have a pretty hard time engraving on a dark material and having it be visible.
You could try flooding it with acrylic paint in a light color and then wiping it off of the unengraved surface…several folks have used that technique here with great success.
